How do I start controlling?
Follow the steps below to join a vACC in our Division for localized training.
Register a VATSIM Account: https://cert.vatsim.net/vatsimnet/signup.html
Select "Asia" followed by "Southeast Asia (VATSEA)" during registration.
If you already have an account, proceed to step 2
Once you have a registered account with VATSIM select your vACC from the list below.
- Hong Kong ACC, proceed to https://vatsim.hk/JoinUs
- Thailand vACC, proceed to https://vacc-tha.org/login
- All remaining vACCs, proceed to https://hq.vatme.net/
If you have selected Hong Kong or Thailand vACC, follow the instructions on their respective site. Note that you may use the VATSEA HQ (https://hq.vatme.net/) to send tickets to division staff should you need.
For all other vACCs, once you are in the HQ system, you will be asked to select a home vACC. Choose a vACC that you wish to be part of and send in a ticket (through the support centre) to that respective vACC with the title "ATC Application" to begin your ATC training to become a virtual air traffic controller!
Please include a short introduction of yourself in the ticket.
Note that this does not allow you to control just yet. Training must be completed.
If at any time, you need any kind of help or assistance, simply send in a Support Ticket to the VATSEA staff team.
