How do I start controlling?
Follow the steps below to join a vACC in our Division for localized training.
Register a VATSIM Account: https://my.vatsim.net/register
Select "Asia-Pacific (APAC)" followed by "Southeast Asia (VATSEA)" during registration.
If you already have an account, proceed to step 2
Once you have a registered account with VATSIM select your vACC from the list below.
- Hong Kong vACC, proceed to https://vathk.com/join
- Singapore vACC, proceed to https://sinvacc.org/join-us/
- Thailand vACC, proceed to https://vacc-tha.org/login
- Malaysia vACC, proceed to https://vatmy.org/join-us/
- Philippines vACC, proceed to https://vatphil.com/join
- All remaining vACCs, proceed to https://hq.vat-sea.com/
If you have selected Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines or Thailand vACC, follow the instructions on their respective site.
You may also want to check the respective websites of each vACC to ensure that their controller intake is open before applying.
For all other vACCs, once you are in the HQ system, send in a ticket (through the support centre) to that respective vACC with the title "ATC Application" to begin your ATC training to become a virtual air traffic controller!
Please include a short introduction of yourself in the ticket along with your application content such as your reason for applying and clearly state which vACC you would like to join. Be as specific as you can!
Hot tip: Only mentioning in your ticket that you want to be an ATC is generally not enough as application content.
Also, please check on your ticket for replies from staff once every few days after submitting your application.
Note that this does not allow you to control just yet. Training must be completed.
As we receive a large number of applications on a daily basis, applications that do not follow these steps will be forfeited without notice.
If at any time, you need any kind of help or assistance, simply send in a Support Ticket to the VATSEA staff team.
